Lunge and Arm Extension

Lunge and Arm Extension
Targets: Anterior Deltoids, Shoulder Mobility

1 "Lunge and arms front—ONE!" Simultaneously step the left leg forward into a lunge and snap arms to the front at shoulder height. Palms face inward. The back leg stays straight.
2 "Arms sideward—TWO!" While holding the lunge, swing the arms out to the sides (lateral) until they are in line with the shoulders. Rotate palms to face the ground.
3 "Arms front—THREE!" Bring the arms back to the front-horizontal position, rotating palms back to face each other. Hold the lunge steady; do not wobble.
4 "Position of attention—FOUR!" Push off the left foot to return to the standing position and snap arms down to the sides instantly. Return to the full stance of attention.
